Our Story
SalemCore was established in 2011 by Maurice Salem and his team of dedicated professionals. Today SalemCore is one of the leading leather manufacturers in Lebanon and the Middle East.
Born in Beirut, Lebanon, into a family of distinguished businessmen and leather manufacturers Mr. Salem naturally embarked on a similar career. He chooses Lebanon as his base for conducting business all over the world. As a Lebanese citizen and businessman, he strongly believes in the capacity of Lebanon to rise above past, current and future challenges and especially in its people’s capacity to strive for its country’s success and prosperity.
SalemCore collaborates with a range of companies dealing in the production, marketing, sales and distribution of leather consumer goods. SalemCore serves clients on five different continents through the mother factory in Lebanon and partner manufacturers in Portugal and employs over 150 individuals. The combination of tradition and intuition for future trends is SalemCore’s driving force.
SalemCore’s persistent belief in the principles of hard work, integrity and leadership is the cornerstone of its success. Through a visionary diversification strategy, SalemCore continues to record greater achievements and in 2019 SalemCore branched out into the realm of interior design. A small dynamic team was handpicked by Maurice Salem to specialize in the design of exclusive leather goods and furniture as well as consulting, wholesale and distribution of high-end decorative and functional hardware.
